!!!  GRANT REVIEW INFORMATION HERE !!!

Welcome Iowa Arts Council Grant Reviewers!

Thank you for your work to support the arts in Iowa. And, a hearty welcome to the Iowa Shakespeare Homepage!

For clarity, ALL Reviewer Information/Directions on this page are in various shades of BLUE INK.

And the ONLY Blue Ink writing on this page is the "Blue" section for Reviewers! (If its Blue, its for You!)

Thus, below, you will find

.
An Overview List of all the application items
which you may access thru our website directions.

BEFORE YOU NAVIGATE THIS SITE, PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is a custom site designed for the many elements of ISE work, from the posting of scholarly papers and extensive Educational Theory information to the posting of Festival Dates and show descriptions.

  • NOTE AT THIS TIME: The site is maintained entirely by volunteers – and at this precise time of year as we gear up for Festival Season, a good portion of this site is UNDER SIGNIFICANT CONSTRUCTION for our annual Spring Housekeeping, preparatory to the summer festival.
  • Right now, the site has only limited “Click through” capacity. Temporarily, “Clicking” will only work on our Site Menu section.
  • Thus, the Homepage does NOT have the appearance it will have in a few more weeks, when construction ends. Without “Click Thru” capacity, except when in the Site Menu, you must scroll up or down to navigate the page.
  • Again, this is a TEMPORARY characteristic related to our current Spring Cleaning, to set up for the summer Festival.
  • With these caveats, however, you are certainly welcome to look around anywhere on the site you wish. Just please be aware that we are under construction on some pages!
  • SNEAK PEAK: For a preview as to how the Homepage and related festival material will ultimately look when we finish our annual Spring Homepage Re-Construction, feel free to scroll ALL the way down the page, as temporarily we currently have prior 2011 Festival info in a single page format below.

Directions or actual worksamples for the MAJORITY of our Iowa Arts Council Reviewer Supplemental Materials will be found on THREE temporary pages of the website which we have specially set up for Reviewer convenience. Those 3 pages are in the first “Chapter” of our Site map.

  • The chapter is at the very top of our Site Menu (labeled Chapter #2 tho it is the first Chapter)

  • The chapter is called: “News and Announcements”, and the special Reviewer pages are clearly labeled under that chapter as either A)“(Required) Work Sample Information/Data Sources” or B)“(Required) Work Samples Video/JPEGS” or C.) “Additional Materials”.(Press/Marketing)

    Here are the specific directions:

  • GO TO SITE MENU:  On most browsers the Site Menu will appear to the right of this Blue Ink section.  If you have trouble locating the Site Menu, from the top of the Homepage, simply scroll down the Homepage until on the right hand side, you see the Words “Site Menu” written in red. This will be below some ISE audio links and below ayellow-ink section that describes Shakespeare.

  • You really can't miss the Site Menu if you keep scrolling - up or down, depending on how your screen displays!
  • When you reach the Site Menu, simply touch the “Chapter Titles” with Mouse (mouse-over) to light them up!
  • For Worksamples, SELECT CHAPTER 2 (which is really the first section): News and Announcements
  • There, you will see 3 special pages clearly labeled: GRANT REVIEW (A-C)
  • Touch the appropriate section to  hook up with our A.) Reviewer Information/Collaboration List/Source Data  to B.) Video/JPEG Work Samples or C.) Supplemental Information  (News Articles and Marketing Materials)

DIRECTIONS TO EVALUATION INFO:

To find more information on ISE Evaluation:

  • GO TO SITE MENU: Scroll down the Homepage until on the right hand side, you see the Words “Site Menu” written in red. This will be below some ISE audio links and below a yellow-ink section that describes Shakespeare.

  • You really can't miss the Site Menu if you keep scrolling!
  • When you reach the Site Map, simply touch the “Chapters” with Mouse to light them up!
  • GO TO CHAPTER 9 ( EVALUATION) Scroll to Chapter 9 “Evaluation”Click to enter any page of interest - note that ISE evaluates overall qualities of the Festival AND our various Arts Goals as separate although related components.
  • Thus, we have TWO different kinds of evaluation forms – one for each type of evaluation.
  • ARTS GOAL EVALUATION: to see Evaluation form/questions relating specific to our Arts Goals, go to the topic “Evaluation Plan- Tourism and Artistic Quality” under Chapter 9. The easiest way to quickly find our Arts Goals Evaluation section is to start at the BOTTOM of the page – scroll ALL the way to the bottom and work up. Our Arts Evaluation section comprises about the bottom third of the page, and begins at where it says “Assessing Artistic Excellence” IN RED INK.
  • The citation to Arts Council England, on which our Arts Goals Assessment tool was based (and by which we can claim its validity/reliability) is at the very bottom of the page.
  • Also, sample actual ELECTRONIC Evaluation form (available to anyone on line) is posted at the VERY END of the Site Menu- just click to view! (Its at "Chapter 19!) THIS is what we use via Survey Monkey, or have on site at our Festival Gates- AND what we post to an easy-link we put on our Homepage in the immediate weeks after the Festival.
  • To exit, simply hit “Home” and you will return here again. OR, to enter another page in the Evaluation section, just click it on the Site Map from any other page on the Site Map.

DIRECTIONS TO BIO INFO: To find ISE key staff bios or CV/Resume:

  • GO TO SITE MENU: Scroll down the Homepage until on the right hand side, you see the Words “Site Menu” written in red. This will be below some ISE audio links and below a yellow-ink section that describes Shakespeare.

  • You really can't miss the Site Menu if you keep scrolling!
  • When you reach the Site Map, simply touch the “Chapters” with Mouse to light them up!
  • GO TO CHAPTER 4 “About the ISE”

  • GO TO the 10th item of that Chapter entitled “Professional Staff and Leadership”- CLICK HERE.
  • BOTH STAFF BIOS ARE ON SAME PAGE!
  • Once on that page, SCROLL DOWN to find first, Bio information for our Artistic Director, Lorenzo Sandoval (under his photograph). Note that there are 3 different Bios for Lorenzo to choose from: regarding whether you are interested in his Artistic Credentials (TOP) or his work as an Educator or his stature as a Community Leader (Following his Arts credentials.). Titles for each type of Bio are in Yellow Ink.
  • Second, Bio information for our Executive Director/Project Manager Robin Heinemann (under her photograph) is located under Lorenzo's material.
  • IMPORTANT: Keep in mind: Bios for BOTH these key staff are on this same page. Just Scroll!
  • To exit, simply hit “Home” and you will return here again.
Many thanks! This paragraph marks the end of the Grant Reviewer information that is on ourHomepage. We hope this information is helpful to you. Navigating this site even while we are under construction to prepare for our Festival should really be quite straightforward - -but if the rules allow it, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any difficulties; we would be happy to talk you through these directions. 515 274 8989 or RobinHeinemann.Pres@Gmail.com
